Wow week 15 officially starts on January 1, 2018. A new year, a new scroll and obviously a new weekly reading of the Master Key Experience. What a fantastic way to start the new year!!
When we start a new scroll we are to bring over a phrase that resonated with us from the previous scroll and read it out loud prior to starting the reading of the scroll. My choice was “I forget the happenings of the day that is gone, whether they were good or bad, and greet the new sun with confidence that this is the best day of my life.” Within 30 minutes of getting up I am completing my Master Key readings and the scroll is the first reading I do, and starting out with “greet the new sun with confidence that this is the best day of my life” to me is a great positive statement to start the day.
I really enjoyed the Master Key reading this week. There is so much substance to chapter 15. There is so much I can link to the readings this week. Here are a few examples.
4. Growth is attained through an exchange of the old for the new, of the good for the better; it is a conditional or reciprocal action, for each of us is a complete thought entity and this completeness makes it possible for us to receive only as we give.
This made me think of the Giving Card, “I promise to give without expectation of reciprocity from the channels I enrich, because I know I am in the dynamic flow of giving and receiving. I also linked this to the Law of Growth, what we think about grows and what we forget atrophies.
7. All conditions and experiences that come to us do so for our benefit. Difficulties and obstacles will continue to come until we absorb their wisdom and gather from them the essentials of further growth.
This made me think about the Law of Dual Thought. Thought is a combination of ideation and feeling. We can attach any feeling to a thought we want. We can look at the obstacle as a negative or positive it is up to us.
20. We know that the Universal Thought has for its goal the creation of form, and we know that the individual thought is likewise forever attempting to express itself in form, and we know that the word is a thought form, and a sentence is a combination of thought forms, therefore, if we wish our ideal to be beautiful or strong, we must see that the words out of which this temple will eventually be created are exact, that they are put together carefully, because accuracy in building words and sentences is the highest
form of architecture in civilization and is a passport to success.
21. Words are thoughts and are therefore an invisible and invincible power which will finally objectify themselves in the form they are given.
This made me think of our Definite Major Purpose (DMP) and why it was sent back to me multiple times for revisions. Thank you Lorelei!! This also made me think of the importance of the words written down on the bottom of my Service Card. “I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, healthy, harmonious and happy.”
This week we also were told to add a 1-2 sentence “mini-journal” about a positive experience from the day, along with three daily gratitude index cards of things we are grateful for that day. We are also to flip through the index cards daily. While I was doing this reading I associated the index cards to the reading as to the importance of this exercise. It is imperative that I develop a positive mental attitude so I am in harmony with the natural laws of the universe.
I hope everyone has a great week of feeling “whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, healthy, harmonious and happy.”
I am glad we are on this journey together!!
